If you ate recently at Chipolte and paid via credit card its payment processing network has been hacked from March 24, 2017 through April 18, 2017. Not much more information has been made available through their website as of yet. They do advise, “Consistent with good practices, consumers should closely monitor their payment card statements. If anyone sees an unauthorized charge, they should immediately notify the bank that issued the card. Payment card network rules generally state that cardholders are not responsible for such charges.”
Chipolte did not state if this hack was limited to a single restaurant but we believe at this time that all of their locations were susceptible to this hacking since it deals directly with their payment processing network.
For more information we recommend contacting Chipotle directly or by visiting their website for updates: http://www.chipotle.com/security
